Thanks for the tips. I am going to be a first time cruiser so the tip on taking a short one first is a great help. I never thought that I may not be suited for a cruise and I rather find that out on a short one, than a fourteen day trip that I couldn't get out of.

This post has really helped me to figure out what all I am going to need for my trip. I always thought that everything was included when you booked a cruise. I am very glad to know ahead of time that it isn't. It is time to go and readjust my budget.

Great tips! Thank you for taking the time out. I havent cruised myself yet and this looks like some good points to consider. I know that after you book your cruise you can keep checking back with the cruiseline to see if the cruise went on sale. They can then switch it over to the lower price.
