Is it safe to go there alone?

I love traveling alone, but I've never been to a Caribbean Island on my own.
Do you think it's sage to go to Virgin Islands alone?

I usually travel alone on most of my trips either personal or business. My only suggestion is to have a good idea about the hotel and surrounding location. If you decide to do a tour or something similiar I would go with a group of other tourist and not alone.

i am also planning a visit to the us virgin islands basically becos i wana hv a feel of wat goes on there. But i dont know anyone there and that makes me feel a bit insecured. Is it likely we can plan our trip together. deskomm1@yahoo.com

I prefer going on a trip alone, but I would love it too when my girlfriend comes along with me. I haven't been to the Caribbean but I think it will be safe for lone travelers there because the place is a very popular destination, and the security there is expected to be good.
So feel well now about going to the Caribbean.
