Ive wondered if the tourism has declined since the Halloway case. Personally i wouldnt head over because if something did happen to me as a tourist i wouldnt feel confident that i would be protected. It seems to me they protect their own.

Of course... BUT... look at all the crap that happens in our own backyards... Don't drink too much.. don't go out alone with strangers... stay in safe areas after dark... [Good advice if you are home or on vacation!]

I just don't see anyone really boycotting for any lenth of time. I will say though it doesn't give me piece of mind that if something did happen to me over their that the law force would go above and beyond trying to find out what happened. I think they have made a mess of this case, personally.

I don't know... I've been to Aruba and the people were nice to me. I love the beaches and I definitely love the food. I'd like to go back again sometime. I'm not afraid to go back because I never go out with strangers.
