How do you go about getting on one?

I have heard about these cruises but do not much about them. Do they cost as much as a regular cruise? Is it cheaper because of all the stops that it makes?

From my reading they run about $50/day... $10K would get you a 6 onth tour around the world with stops in more places than you could imagine. I aso read that you can pretty much pick and chose where you would want to get on and off... ie: if you want to for for 2 days or 2 years, its just a matter of making the arrangements.

The problem is *NOTHING* is specific about how or where to make the arrangements!

That doesn't seem terribly expensive. I don't think I could handle all the stops and I am sure that they don't anywhere fast. It would definitely make for an interesting adventure but not as a means for travel for a honeymoon.

My granddad loved his world cruise. He was gone for months not years, but I suppose he could have been gone longer. We got a lot of interesting and colorful letters home.

I never knew that these even existed. I read up on the link above and it sounds interesting. I don't think though that it's something that I would personally do, but to each their own!!

Wow interesting. Yeah i did not know about this either. I think it could be quite fun for an adventurous person. Like people who like to travel by backpack. It COULD be a fun honeymoon for people who enjoy that sort of thing. My good friend went camping all around PA for a honeymoon with his wife and they had so much fun!
